Location: Chesterfield (S43).

Daily Rate: £88-£100

Start Date: ASAP

About the role: We are looking for Level 3 Teaching assistants looking to gain some flexibility in their working life and experience working in a range of mainstream and alternative provisions in Chesterfield and surrounding areas. You will be required to support class teachers to maintain and develop an appropriate learning environment. We are looking for someone who promotes positive values, attitude and good pupil behaviour. Dealing with conflict and incidents in line with the school’s policy. You will support children’s learning in both 1:1 sessions and group activities.

Requirements for the role:

–          Hold NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience

–          Have a good understanding of the primary Curriculum

–          Can provide support for all pupils, including those with SEND. Ensuring they are safe and have access to learning activities.

–          Have and enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one (PK can support you through this process).
