Food Technology/Textiles/Child Development Teacher required – Durham – £150 – £230 per day

Are you a Food Technology/Textiles/Child Development Teacher with a passion to encourage progression in your pupils?

This exciting Food Technology/Textiles/Child Development Teacher vacancy is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for more flexibility and a placement in a good school in Durham.

This rewarding role is to start January 2025 and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year. This is a part-time position of 3 days per week.

Food Technology/Textiles/Child Development Teacher responsibilities and duties:

–     You will be required to deliver lessons in accordance with the planning provided that engage and challenge students of all abilities.

– You will at all times implement school policies and procedures and manage the classroom and behaviour.

Food Technology/Textiles/Child Development Teachers of all levels and experience will be considered for this role, including NQTs.

To be considered for the Food Technology/Textiles/Child Development Teacher role you should have:

·       Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

·       The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

·       Strong subject knowledge of your chosen specialism, with the experience and ability to teach Food Technology, Textiles and Child Development to KS3 and KS4 students.

 

Food Technology/Textiles/Child Development Teacher Salary and Benefits:

·       Competitive rates of pay from between £150 to £230 per day (AWR Compliant).

Additional requirements:

·       Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

·       Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online, PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
