Job Title: First Aid Support Role
Location: Secondary School, Wakefield Area
Position: Full Time, Term Time Only
Pay Rate: £98 – £108 per day

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join the team in a First Aid Support Role at a secondary school in the Wakefield area. This role is perfect for someone who is first aid trained and comfortable responding to first aid calls, particularly those related to seizures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid support across the school site.
• Respond to first aid calls, with a primary focus on managing and assisting with seizures.
• Work closely with the school nurse and the Student Information Desk (SID) receptionist.
• Ensure a calm and professional response during first aid incidents, ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff.

Skills and Experience:

• First Aid qualification is essential.
• Experience or comfort in managing seizures is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the school nurse and other staff members.

Additional Information:

• This role is term time only, meaning you will have school holidays off.
• Flexible working hours available.
• Competitive daily pay rate of £98 – £108.
