Vacancy:                Teaching Assistant

Start Date:             September

Duration:               One or Two terms

Rate of Pay:          £90-£125 per day

I am currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a school based on the Derby/Nottingham border.  This is for a long-term position however there are also more flexible day to day opportunities available as well.

If you have a passion for supporting children in their educational journey, this is the role for you! You will be working in a school environment where teamwork and communication are key. You’ll assist teachers in delivering lessons and helping students reach their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Helping to prepare classroom materials and resources.

• Assisting students during lessons and provide 1:1 support as needed.
• Encouraging students to engage with learning while fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Supporting the teacher in managing classroom behaviour effectively.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Experience working with children/young people, preferably in a school or educational setting.

• A positive and friendly demeanour that encourages students to learn.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and fellow staff.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check, or the willingness to obtain one.

• Valid UK Right to Work.
