Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Level 4

Start Date: 14^th April 2025.

Location: Sheffield, S8.

Daily rate: £105 – £120

About the role: Are you an experienced and dedicated HLTA looking for an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic classroom? Maybe you’re a qualified teacher looking for an alternative role in the classroom. Do you have a desire to make a positive impact on students’ learning?

We are looking for a Higher level teaching assistant to support teaching and learning, cover sessions when needed and run interventions to help our children thrive and make progress. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and are committed to being part of a team.

The successful candidate will be helping with classroom management, providing individualised instruction to students, and helping to create a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential.

Requirements:

–          Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one, PK Education can support you through this process).

–          Must have undertaken the HLTA Qualification or a degree in childcare/education.

–          Have good behaviour management strategies.

–          Have the ability to work under pressure and work on own initiative.
