Daily Rate: £163 – £224

Location: Chesterfield, S43.

Start date: 22^nd April 2025

We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate MFL teacher to start working after the easter half term at a secondary school in the Chesterfield area. The role will include planning, prepping and marking with the support of SLT members. You will play a vital role in shaping young minds, fostering a love for languages and helping support children to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons to students across different Key Stages.
• Plan lessons alongside SLT to meet the school’s curriculum goals and to suit all students’ abilities.  
• Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, contributing to curriculum planning and assessment.
• Promote supportive and inclusive working environments.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events when needed (extra working hours will be paid).

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
• A relevant or related degree in Languages.
• Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service.
