PK Education is excited to be working with an incredibly supportive and open school based near Bramley, Leeds, to recruit an experienced Year 4 Teacher for a part-time job share position. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team in a school that values diversity and inclusion.

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to a diverse group of pupils, including those with SEND, SEMH needs, and other vulnerabilities. You will need to bring strong curriculum knowledge, a compassionate approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with children who may require additional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Year 4 pupils across a broad range of subjects
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, including those with SEND, SEMH, and other vulnerabilities
  • Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of pupils and ensure their progress and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members in a job share arrangement
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to support their development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child’s progress

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and experience delivering it effectively
  • Experience working with children with SEND, SEMH, and other vulnerabilities
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build positive rapport with students
  • Strong classroom management skills and a proactive, adaptable teaching style
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a job share arrangement
  • Enthusiastic, empathetic, and dedicated to making a difference in students’ lives
